Ling Cod or lingcod, is neither a ling nor a cod. It’s actually a greenling that is caught in the waters off of Northern California, or Southeast Alaska. It has a semi-firm, lean white flesh that is similar to Alaskan Halibut. It has a sweet flavor that is enjoyed pan-seared, fried or sautéed.
