Farmed by Penn Cove Shellfish Farm in Coupeville, Washington, these mussels (Mytilus trossulus) measure 2.5"-3" in size.  They are very sweet with a mild delicate texture and full meat content.  Mussels are prepared by steaming and are typically added to a white wine or garlic sauce, paired with garlic bread.  Mussels can also be added to pasta dishes.
